Rev. Scott Nice
Senior Pastor
Born in Allentown and raised in Souderton PA, I graduated from the Souderton Area High School, class of '89. After graduation, I served in the US Navy for 4 years. Having settled back in the area after being honorably discharged, my "heart was strangely warmed", as the Word and the Spirit convicted me of my sin and need for a Savior while working at the Perkasie Post Office.
Soon after being "born again" from above, I began utilizing the GI Bill and started taking classes at MCCC, Moody Bible Institute, and eventually (getting married to my wife Catharina, and four children later) graduated from Prairie Bible College with a B.A. in Ministry. After being a bi-vocational Pastor for 7 years, I was called to full-time Ministry and afforded the opportunity to attend Seminary. I “squeezed” my Master's of Ministry Degree program (2 year degree program) into 6 short years and graduated from The Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development in March of 2015. I have served in one capacity or another at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek since February of 2002. My passions are Biblical Peacemaking and making Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our Church, the Community and around the globe.
Joe Vasarhelyi
Director of Family Ministries
Driven by a passion for building Christ-centered communities, Joe joins our team bringing a wealth of experience from his previous ministry work in Florida/Ohio. Throughout his career, Joe has excelled at creating spaces where multiple generations can connect, serve, and grow in their understanding of Christ. He remains deeply committed to the idea that the church’s greatest impact is found in empowering parents to be the primary spiritual influences in their children's lives. He is married to Amber and has 2 children.
Joe LePosa
Interim Director of Music Ministries
Born in Niagara Falls New York, and raised in Quakertown, I graduated from High School 50 years ago in the bicentennial year of 1976.
Growing up, my mother was pianist and organist at church. We also had both a piano and organ in our home. I started piano lessons at the age of 5, and learned the organ on my own with direction from my mother. At age 18 I became organist and choir director at my home church in Pennsburg.
In the last 45years, I've served various churches in the local area including Pennsburg, two churches in Quakertown, Silverdale, and Hilltown, and I'm pleased to be the Interim Director of Music Ministries at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek.
